Rowers remember Finnis and Took

Organised by Andy Bryant, a small group of long-standing friends of the club recently donated funds to have the ‘Finnis and Took’ memorial refurbished Before and after photos show the brilliant transformation. Local stonemason and member Neil Scrivener (Kent Stonemason) and repaired and cleaned the headstone and Andy repaired and painted the iron railings. In the spring bulbs will be planted to finish the transformation

DRC were entertained by the Ratzkins ‘We need a bigger boat’ fundraiser

DRC’s own Chris Wong, Laine and Damion Napier were joined by their band mates in the Ratzkins for a club fundraiser on the Marina Curve. The event raised around £200 towards a new rowing boat. Thank you to all involved.

Dover Rowing Club participate in British’s Rowings Blades of Remembrance

Dover Rowing Club participated in British Rowing’s Blades of Remembrance observance in memory of those associated to the club who lost their lives in conflict and the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice at the end of the First World War.
