All Members are urged to attend

If you have any business you would like to be considered at the A.G.M., then please put details in writing to the Committee c/o The Hon Secretary by Thursday 28th September for consideration.  Agenda, previous minutes etc will be sent out approx 1 week prior to the meeting.

A notice for Election of Club Officials and Committee Members will be on display at the Clubhouse on the door by the Gym area in due course.

A date for your diaries…….Capsize Drill

WATER SAFETY TRAINING – CAPSIZE DRILL

This session is MANDATORY for those members who have not previously completed a capsize drill.

Saturday 4th March 2017

at

Dover Leisure Centre.

Time

6.15pm – 8.30pm

This will include a swimming test wearing rowing kit/gym kit (approx 100 metres) and tuition on capsizing safely in the controlled conditions of an indoor swimming pool.

Don’t forget to bring a change of clothes, footwear and a towel with you!

Funeral service to take place on Monday 17th October 2016 at Barham Crematorium 11.20am, followed by a gathering at the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club.

Announcement- Terry Easley

With permission from his family, we are deeply saddened to advise that Terry Easley, a long standing member and friend to many at the club, passed away earlier today.

Our thoughts are with his family at this time

Anyone wishing to book overnight accommodation can contact the hotels reservation department directly. The discounted prices for the accommodation will be £90.00 for a double room and £130.00 for a suite. These rates are per room, based on two people sharing bed and breakfast. (These were last year’s prices). Please ask for the best price as you will be attending the dinner.

The organisers have asked if each club can bring a couple of raffle prizes with them, so if you have any at home, please let me know.

The presentation evening will run as follows
 Pre drinks from 17.30 Sitting for 18.00
 Presentation of prizes
 Disco till 12.

Places are limited so please let me know if you wish to attend ASAP. detailing your menu choice and arranging your payment of course !

The costs of the evening is £33 Per Person.
